The Spiritual Power Of Abortion

Abortion has been a hot-button topic in our nation for decades and the battle surrounding it has reached a fever-pitch. Mostly the cry against its abolition has reached a fever-pitch. And it raises the question: why are people so passionate about the right to kill babies in their most vulnerable stage of life?

The people who advocate for abortion would give you a variety of reasons, from female bodily autonomy to babies not being babies yet in the womb, to simply hating conservatives so much that they love clinging to something that is such an affront to us—to many other convoluted arguments.

People who advocate against it, basically have one argument: it’s immoral to commit murder—and abortion is murder and we must protect the victims. Some might go so far as to say that allowing it will pollute our land and bring a curse on us. I would agree with this.

A Spiritual Perspective

But let’s wade past all the human arguments for or against abortion and look at the whole thing from a spiritual perspective. Christians realize that the abortion agenda is a satanic one. With that being the case, how does the enemy benefit from abortion? Why has he created such a fever pitch in a certain segment of our society in support of it?

The short answer is that he was a murderer from the beginning according to Jesus, and so loves anything that involves the act of it. But there’s even more to it than that. Many have posited that abortion is modern day child-sacrifice—and I would agree. Molech and Baal were the two main gods that the Israelites went astray in sacrificing their children to. And in so doing they gave the enemy great power over their land—leading to their ultimate expulsion from it.

The Dark Power Of Abortion

Knowing this and seeing abortion as a modern version of the same satanic strategy, it should be no surprise to us that the enemy would employ the same tactic against nations and civilizations that are traditionally Christian. He is trying to gain dominion over our lands and societies through raw, dark power that seeks to engulf the light God’s people carry.

He’s doing it by giving people the convenience of shirking the responsibility that traditionally came along with sexual pleasure. Thus we have sexual promiscuity leading to the killing of babies—exactly what the pagan gods required of their devotees in ancient times.

Unwitting Participants

Many people are unwittingly participating in this ancient rite and bringing a curse on the land. But the interesting thing is, it seems there are some people in high places that might actually know what they are doing. People who get no personal benefit from abortion on demand—as in not having unwanted pregnancies.

There are politicians who advocate strongly for abortion with no obvious personal motive for it. Some might say they get political advantage for it, but that doesn’t explain the fervor they have in defending it. There seem to be deeper reasons why they support it so strongly.

The Agenda

Why for example was there such a push to keep abortion clinics open during COVID while at the same time pushing to close churches? Why was there such mass hysteria when Roe v. Wade was struck down? Why were the people who exposed the selling of baby parts by Planned Parenthood targeted by our current vice president who was an attorney general at the time, while the people butchering the babies and selling the parts went scot free? Or in a more recent example, why did the Democrats have a mobile unit at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago giving out free abortions on demand? Could it be that they know that some of the power they hold over this nation is satanic?

It seems it’s either that, or they are strongly controlled unwittingly by satanic forces. I do know that according to Satanists who have left the movement, that there are Satanists in every part and level of our society. Either way, whether wittingly or unwittingly, it seems there was child-sacrifice at the DNC meant by the enemy to empower a certain political party and movement in our nation as they springboard a nomination and campaign.

These cases provide circumstantial evidence and a repeated pattern that can’t be ignored. Also, let’s not forget that in 2020 there was an article featuring the satanic temple and the way they circumvent certain state abortion restrictions by performing abortions as satanic rituals—thus claiming exemptions under religious liberty. That’s pretty blatant. Here is a link to the article.

Human-Sacrifice As A Spiritual Weapon

Consider the following section of Scripture and extrapolate it to our political or cultural situation in the United States:

2 Kings 3:26-27  26 When the king of Moab saw that the battle was going against him, he took with him 700 swordsmen to break through, opposite the king of Edom, but they could not. 27 Then he took his oldest son who was to reign in his place and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. And there came great wrath against Israel. And they withdrew from him and returned to their own land. – ESV

In this story, Moab turned a battle that was hopelessly against them around and pushed Israel back to their homes. How did they do it? By borrowing dark powers through the rite of human-sacrifice. The same thing is being employed against Christians and conservatives before our very eyes.

Catching Up

My question is this: if there is an anti-Christian or anti-Christ movement, wittingly or unwittingly using spiritual means to gain political power, how are we responding? What I’m getting at with this whole post is that mere political debate and activism on the conservative side will probably not cut it. That’s like bringing a knife to a gun-fight.

We need to have spiritual awareness in this election cycle and approach this from a primarily spiritual standpoint by praying against this witchcraft as God gives us grace to do so. Those who would destroy our country with evil are doing so in a spiritual way already, we need to catch up and respond appropriately. We have the advantage if we do so—for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

Let’s Also Remember The Practical Things

And of course we still need to do the practical things. We still need to vote and speak out against evil. We still need to do our part in the physical realm. Faith without works is dead after all. But, let’s not forget that this fight is primarily spiritual. And let’s not just use this perspective during election cycles, but at all times.
